John McDiarmid

John McDiarmid (a Chartered Accountant since 1993) provides consulting and advisory services to Harrop Scott & Associates’ clients. John enhances the analysis provided by Siobhan and the other bookkeepers to answer clients’ specific needs. John specializes in project work for large corporations and has worked in a variety of industries. Recent clients include Guardian Capital, Royal Bank, Canadian Tire, and Sobeys with projects involving financial reporting, system development, and problem solving for management reporting (including integration of business units). A highly skilled Microsoft Excel user, John provides extensive creation and development of existing and new tools for financial analysis. John assists businesses with complex problems, filling in gaps in existing staffing. He provides a strong bridge to complete the required work and training to staff in improved techniques for performing routine and non-routine work.
